Little Things To Do

1. Free Time

Enjoy a little play time with the children at the front end to get to know them

2. DVD

Use the Read & Share Bible DVD series and pick one of the stories about healing

3. Bible Story Time

Use a children’s Bible to tell the story of how Jesus healed the man with the withered hand

4. Simple Music

Head and shoulders, Jesus loves me

5. Valentine to Jesus

Help the children make a valentine for Jesus, thanking him for being so loving to all people

6. Snack

7. Bible Memory

“I am the truth”

Write these words on hearts and put them on the wall. Have the children stick heart stickers on them and talk through each one “I…am…the…truth!”

8. Simple craft

Use sheets of paper with the picture of a child on it. Use gauze, bandaids to stick on them to make them feel better (do this while talking about how Jesus loves us and Jesus can also heal us!).

9. Prayer

Pray for the children

10. Colouring sheets

Provide a colouring sheet of Jesus showing love to the world
